MONEY AS DEBT:  Two animated Movies exposing the Banking Fraud and what can be done about it.  Screening and Q&A with filmaker Paul Grignon, at Langara College, 100 W. 49th in Vancouver... Sun. June 28, 2009.

Langara Theater Room A130... 1 - 5 PM

Are you interested in learning about how money is created?

Do you know that today's banking system began as a private act of fraud that soon conjoined with government to become the Ponzi-scheme based economic system that we see imploding around us today?

While several excellent books have been written on the subject of money and its creation by banks, only a small number of people read them.  But around the world many people have watched an animated explanation of how money is created:  Money as Debt.

Artist/animator and monetary reform activist from Gabriola Island, Paul Grignon, first created a 17-minute cartoon about "The Goldsmith's Tale" early in 2002.  This was expanded into a 47-minute animation released in July 2006.  Since then it has been hailed as the best explanation of the money system ever produced.

The genius of this film resides in its use of animation to explain the often difficult topic of economics, thus rendering it instantly accessible to a wider audience.  Millions have viewed it online, and it has been translated into several languages on film.

It is a topic not taught to us in school, yet we are all affected by this economic system... a system that serves to enrich a few at the expense of everyone else.

From the response to Money as Debt, Paul realized that people were hungry for this information, and he set to work on a sequel.  Money as Debt II:  Promises Unleashed goes into greater detail about the finer points of our Money as Debt economic system, particularly the question of interest which confuses many people.  The animated pictures make normally bewildering explanations come to life in colourful form.

The ultimate aim of the Money as Debt movies is to educate us to realize that reform of our monetary system is urgent.  In order to make changes, we need to understand what is wrong with the current system.  The current growth-addicted financial system rests on several unquestioned, and for most of us, unthought-of-of assumptions.  In this case, the producer argues that what we don't know has hurt us for centuries, continues to do so and will make it impossible to adapt to a future where endless growth is no longer possible.

Both Money as Debt movies are superbly narrated by well-known Canadian folksinger Bob Bossin.  Many people from other countries have expressed appreciation for his friendly and reasonable Canadian voice.

The Vancouver 9/11 Truth Society is bringing Paul Grignon to present both movies on Sunday afternoon, June 28th, in Theatre Room A130 in Langara College at 100 W. 49th Ave in Vancouver.  Doors will open at 12:30 PM, and the 1st movie will start at 1 PM.  It is 47 minutes long.  There will be time for discussion and a short break.  At 2:45 Grignon will introduce the Vancouver premiere of his newly released animation sequel "Money as Debt II: Promises Unleashed", which is 77 minutes, followed by an hour of Q & A / discussion.  The afternoon will end around 5 PM.  Admission is $15.

In one afternoon, people can learn what it has taken others years of intense study to fathom.  Thanks to Money as Debt, there is a much larger Monetary Reform community in the world.  To learn more, visit moneyasdebt.net.

"The powers of financial capitalism [have] a far-reaching aim, nothing less than to create a world system of financial control in private hands able to dominate the political system of each country and the economy of the world as a whole." ~ insider, Carrol Quigley, Tragedy & Hope
